Villa Andina (VA) is a Peruvian company that buys agricultural products from small-scale farmers, dehydrates the produce in its processing plant, and sells in local and export markets. VA works with families of small scale farmers in the Cajamarca region of Peru, providing technical assistance in organic and sustainable crop management. The company’s main products are quinoa, maca, dehydrated golden berry, and mango.
In 2011, GBF committed a loan to Villa Andina to help the company scale and strengthen operations through the acquisition of land, expansion of a new bigger plant, and working capital. Due to its success, GBF has committed follow on investments with Villa Andina in 2014 and 2016.

By sourcing agricultural products from small-scale farmers, Villa Andina connects families to more lucrative markets and trains producers to grow higher value goods. From January 2019 to December 2019:
- Villa Andina directly impacted 2,997 beneficiaries— farmers and workers
- An estimated 11,988 family members in low-income households in the Cajamarca region of northern Peru benefit from Villa Andina
- Farmers and workers earn over $4.9M of income annually through Villa Andina
