Laila supports the Africa investment team in supervision and portfolio management. Her main roles include updating models, preparing quarterly financial and operational reports for investees, and supporting the valuation process. She plays an important role in global portfolio management supporting the CIO in preparing investor reports and responding to investor requests. In addition to her investment role, Laila supports the Nairobi office and DC office in finance and administrative matters. Laila graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations. She is currently pursuing an MBA in Finance at the United States International University with a completion date of 2020.
