Karoney is an Investment Analyst in the Nairobi office. In her role, she conducts industry, market, and company research in the context of exploring investment opportunities, and assessing business risks in the region. She supports the team in conducting due diligence, including financial due diligence and modeling. She also supports the management of existing investments, including conducting financial analysis, developing and implementing business advisory projects, and assessing social returns on investments. Karoney also supports the Nairobi office’s donor-funded programs. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Financial Economics from Strathmore University. She has earned CFA Level I and is a CFA Level II Candidate.
Karoney is fluent in English and Kiswahili; she loves running, biking, baking, and hanging out with family and friends.
