GBF partners with UMich for export business study
The University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and GBF are partnering in a 7 week long consulting project (MAP) focused on the challenges faced by small export focused producer groups and GBF’s Client Incubator Facility. The primary challenges they will take on are: determining a viable solution for the market need for working capital financing to support large export orders, as well as tracking beneficiary impact of production and export activities.
The four selected MBA students work will culminate in a needs assessment and industry overview as well as a tool based off of GBF’s existing iPAL for evaluating the social economic impact of small and medium sized export businesses. The collaborative project will run from early March through the end of April.
