GBF partner launches MajorityMarkets.org website

GBF is partnering with MajorityMarkets.org, a website offering tools and resources to markets serving the BoP

November 2009 - The Grassroots Business Fund is pleased to announce the launch of MajorityMarkets.org, an initiative of the Inter-American Development Bank's Opportunities for the Majority office. The website is dedicated to promoting innovative business models that serve BoP in Latin America and the Caribbean. The site, which will be linked to the IDB institutional website, is an independent effort of OMJ that will offer tools and the resources necessary to bring key players who are interested in the business potential of majority markets. The site will raise the profile of investing in low-income markets throughout the region.

With the benefits of online collaboration and rapid knowledge sharing, this tool will establish a marketplace for organizations and individuals that share our goal of fostering social and economic development through multi-stakeholder partnerships. GBF will be supporting the MajorityMarkets.org initiative via guest blogs and content contribution.
